Session 37

Early 616 MR

The Heroes explore two more islands, both of them occupied by dark elves. Michael and Sigurd are taken prisoners, but soon rescued. One of the drow leaders is actually a Wyrm from the Shadowlands in disguise, and the Heroes enrage her by killing her pet dark elf. With the help of the Dwaven Guard of Princess Norla, the Heroes defeat the Wyrm and loot her treasure.

Among the spoils, a flawless black diamond shaped like a spider is found, bearing a magical rune. Michael tries to decifer the rune, realizing too late it is a symbol of death, and he perishes. With heavy hearts, the Heroes ready themselves for their next battle.
